This drawing was done in class and the main point of it was line quality. A table with some vases and flowers in them, a bucket with paint brushes and pens, and some strings with a camera were in the drawing. To create my artwork I had to use line quality mostly on the strings. If all of the string was one shade then it would not look like it had a light right above it light it did in reality. Also the line quality was used on the vases when the light hit the vase it would create different shades on it. My goal was to get my drawing to look exactly like it did in reality. I felt like this could only be done with line quality. Making different shades give the perception that the vase is round and that it has a light source. Following the contour of the object you are drawing helps too with using line quality. My overall thoughts of this drawing was that it came out very good. I liked how realistic it looked.
